Experience:
BertJan Kamphuis has been active as a patent attorney since 2013. Prior to that, he gained extensive management and technical experience within the international business world. This combination enables him not only to provide legal protection but also to contribute strategically to thinking about the role of patents within the broader business strategy.

He advises clients on identifying patentable inventions and helps them make informed choices about how innovations can best be protected — through patents or alternative protection mechanisms.

BertJan is an engineer in Chemical Engineering and holds a PhD at the intersection of catalysis and particle technology. His technical expertise lies in, among other areas, process technology, materials science, physical chemistry, metallurgy, catalysis, and powder and particle technology.
