Experience:
Tinneke Jacobs is a European patent attorney and has been working at Oryon, formerly Bureau Bockstael, since 2012.

After her engineering studies and PhD in applied physics, she started as a patent expert and later as a patent attorney at Oryon.

She manages clients’ patent portfolios in various sectors, where she handles the drafting of patent texts, the defense of patent applications, and the systematic granting procedures worldwide. Additionally, advising clients on patentability and issues, developing patent strategies, and identifying oppositions and problematic cases are part of her regular duties.

Her areas of expertise include general engineering and technology, mechanics, physics, photonics, and materials science. Thanks to her strong scientific and technical background, she is able to quickly grasp new technologies in a wide range of fields.
