Experience:
Frank is a European Patent Attorney and has been affiliated with Oryon, formerly IPLodge, since 2025.

After his engineering studies and research assistantship at KU Leuven, he worked in the FinTech industry for 27 years, initially in an R&D role and subsequently as an Intellectual Property Rights Manager.

He manages clients’ patent portfolios across various sectors, where he handles the drafting of patent texts, the defence of patent applications, and the monitoring of grant procedures worldwide. Due to his extensive experience in the industry as an Intellectual Property Rights Manager, he is excellently positioned to advise companies on intellectual property.

His areas of expertise include general engineering and technology, electromechanics, and electronics, with a focus on Computer Security, FinTech, and Artificial Intelligence. Thanks to his strong scientific and technical background, he is able to quickly grasp new technologies across a wide range of fields.
