Ronny Vanoppen is a European Patent Attorney and has been active in the field of intellectual property for over 25 years.

After his studies, he started working as a researcher in the industry in the field of semiconductor devices and technology. Subsequently, he shifted his focus to intellectual property in various positions within the corporate world, primarily concentrating on mitigating infringement risks, protecting innovations, managing patent portfolios, and providing strategic advice regarding patents.

Since 2022, he has worked as a Patent Attorney at Oryon for clients in various sectors, focusing particularly on supporting clients to effectively protect their innovations.

His areas of expertise include general engineering and technology, mechanics, physics, MEMS, and printing. Thanks to his technical interest, analytical mindset, familiarity with product development, and extensive experience, he is able to quickly pick up on new technologies in a wide range of fields.
