Nick Warmoeskerken is a European Patent Attorney and has been part of the Oryon team since 2021.

After obtaining his Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, specializing in Electrical Engineering, Nick started his career in industry. For five years, he was involved in technical projects within the electricity generation and railway rolling stock sectors. This practical experience is a significant asset in his work as a Patent Attorney today.

Nick now manages patent portfolios for clients active in diverse technological domains. He is responsible for drafting and defending patent applications and oversees grant procedures worldwide. Nick has a good general overview of various aspects of intellectual property. In addition, he advises clients on patentability, develops well-thought-out patent strategies, and oversees opposition and infringement proceedings.

His expertise covers general engineering and technology, with a particular focus on electrical engineering, electronics, mechanics, automotive technology, and civil engineering. Thanks to his industrial background, Nick can quickly familiarize himself with complex technical matters and speaks the language of the inventor fluently.
