IP firms Bockstael and IPLodge join forces as Oryon

April 2, 2026

Antwerp/Leuven, April 2, 2026 – Bockstael and IPLodge, two firms specializing in intellectual property, are joining forces under a new name: Oryon. The name launch is accompanied by the launch of the firm’s new website: www.oryon.be .

Both firms have extensive experience in IP management (patents, trademarks, and designs). Bockstael, based in Antwerp, has existed for over 80 years and is an established name in the Belgian IP landscape. IPLodge, based in Leuven (Haasrode), was founded in 2013 and has grown into a dynamic IP firm in recent years. The Antwerp and Leuven locations will remain, with Antwerp as the head office.

Robur Capital Facilitates Merger

Since 2023, both organizations have been part of Robur Capital, a West Flemish long-term investment group with several companies in its portfolio focusing on manufacturing or services to the manufacturing industry. Under Robur Capital, Bockstael and IPLodge were already working closely together behind the scenes. The integration of both companies into a single new brand with a team of approximately 25 experts is a logical next step.

Oryon: A Clear Guide for Businesses

The name Oryon is inspired by Greek mythology and refers to the constellation Orion, which represents protection and guidance. The name reflects the firm’s role: a guide that provides companies with a clear direction in protecting and managing their intellectual property. This positioning is also reflected in the firm’s new baseline: “Clarity. Strategy. IP.”
